Dress code
In the last few days, Chuck Schumer, the Senate majority leader, announce that they will be a new dress code in the senate. In the past senators normally wore a business suit,or a coat and tie. now there is no dress code. You can wear whatever you’re comfortable in. I understand this was done to benefit one person senator John Fetterman the junior senator from the state of Pennsylvania, who looks like he got his clothes from a rummage sale and didn’t iron them.
If I were in the Senate I think I would show up in a loud Hawaiian shirt, short pants, flip-flops, and a big Panama hat as there is no dress code.

School
I thought the purpose of going to school was to learn subjects like reading, writing, math, social studies and English. I was watching the Senate hearings earlier this week with Senator Kennedy from Louisiana about books that should be banned in school. The senator read from two of the books. to me, it sounded like hard-core porn. I can’t believe they would even think about having this kind of books in our school. It was actually books describing sexual activity. This is the reason that our children are so far behind the rest of the world in their education, not teaching the old methods of reading, writing, and arithmetic seems like it’s just a big social experiment. They are not getting these children ready to face the world, the real world the one where you have to get a job make a living. I can’t even imagine that our tax dollars are going to pay teachers to have this type of curriculum in our schools.

Republican debate results
According to the polls, the governor of Florida Ron DeSantis came out the winner of the debate on Wednesday that was televised on Fox News over 15 million people watch the debate quite a record. The governors campaign said they raised over $1 million as a result of the debate he also rose in the polls to 29%. Donald Trump, who had to turn himself into the Fulton County sheriffs office on Thursday, and did not attend the debate drop 5% in the polls. The actual debate was really good. I enjoyed it. The candidates went after each other, and many of them scored points the candidates expressed their points of view on many subjects, but they were a lot of issues that could have been discussed, and I’m sure will be in the next debate coming up in the future. After watching all the candidates on the stage, I don’t see how Joe Biden could hold his own debating any of these people I guess that is why he says he will not be debating anyone. This could be a major mistake by his campaign. But when you are in the early stages of dementia, you can’t remember much less debate, anybody.

Republican debate
Last night I watch the Republican debate, the first one of the political season I was quite impressed. All the candidates seem to be well-informed and try to get their point across. They were many things that were left out but all in all it seem like they had their finger on the issues that will be confronting us in the future.
I think the overall winner of the debate was the governor of Florida Ron DeSantis. He answered the questions directly with solutions. For example, when asked about the drug problem, one of his solutions was to send special military teams into Mexico to deal with the cartels. I think this is the only way you can deal with this problem cut the head of the snake off, the other candidates had satisfactory answers to the questions that were presented to them but I do think that Governor DeSantis stood out above the crowd and I’m looking forward to seeing the next debate and I hope it will cover more topics and not just the ones that they discussed last night.
